'Scrunch' assay

Purpose: Test for photosensitivity

  1. Starve Hydra for at least 48 hours.
  2. Isolate a single Hydra in a 15mL dish and place in the dark for half an hour in 10 mL of HM. If doing a drug trail, add it to the HM.
  3. Turn on light at desired intensity and wait until scrunch response or 20 minutes.
