A few things to get you started...

UCSB-Galaxy is housed on the CNSI HPC called knot.

To use UCSB-Galaxy, you first should obtain regular accounts for knot at http://csc.cnsi.ucsb.edu/forms/request-user-account

The website for UCSBgalaxy on knot is: http://galaxy2.cnsi.ucsb.edu/

In order to access Galaxy on knot, you will either need to be on campus or use a VPN client available at: http://www.oit.ucsb.edu/network_services/VPN_service/get_connected.asp

You will then request a new account within UCSBGalaxy

The public version of Galaxy is available at Penn State: http://main.g2.bx.psu.edu/ The latter is useful because it includes webcasts that explain how to use certain tools.

There is a wiki for Penn State: http://wiki.g2.bx.psu.edu/

And a toolshed, where extra tools generated by users are deposited and available http://testtoolshed.g2.bx.psu.edu/
